WEBINAR - There's a Grant for That

Building a Winning Grant Application with Texas Rural Funders

Join us for this free webinar aimed at helping partners learn how to build successful grant applications. We'll share resources to help you find the right grant for your projects, share tips on creating strong applications, and connect with experts to get your questions answered.

Dr. Kelty Garbee and Evan Wolstencroft from Texas Rural Funders will be leading this free virtual event from 12:30-1:30pm on December 12.  Evan and Kelty will teach attendees how to use the Texas Rural Funders Grants Hub before leading a workshop for attendees to draft two-page outlines to help make projects stand out in grant applications. Leading in the Rural Hill Country steering committee members will help lead breakout sessions with Evan and Kelty to make sure attendees all receive dedicated help regardless of where they are in the grant application process. Come ready with questions!

Event Overview:

This virtual event provides a follow up from the Rural Roundup held last month in Utopia, an all day event focused on how to win grants in the rural Hill Country. This event aims to give folks an opportunity to meet an additional funder, ask specific questions about their projects, and leave with a tangible product to make their next grant application easier.

Date: Thursday, December 12, 2024 | 12:30 - 1:30 PM CT
Location: Online - Zoom Meeting
Free event - Space Limited - RSVP Required to receive meeting link!

Click here for an example two-pager that Texas Rural Funders crafted for one of their own projects and the template of questions they used to craft it. We encourage you fill out this linked Word Doc questionnaire for your project before tomorrow's webinar if you have the time. It's not expected, but it will help us make the most of our time with Evan and Kelty.
