The Hill Country Conservancy (HCC) and Hill Country Alliance are hosting a free ranch tour for local landowners! Join us in the field to gain first-hand knowledge on land management from area expert, Rachael Lindsey with the HCC. During this tour, we'll walk roughly 1-1.5 miles on mostly even terrain and visit different sites on a gorgeous property outside of Fredericksburg. Rachael Lindsey will cover the following topics:
- - Brush management in hardwood dominated woodlands
- - Restoring native Texan grasslands
- - Managing ashe juniper (or mountain cedar) for enhanced biodiversity and wildlife habitat
